About this Role

Fandom is growing! We are hiring several new Engineers for Backend | Fullstack | Frontend. These position can work anywhere in Poland remotely or if you prefer to work hybrid or in the Poznan office.You will report to our Engineering Manager

You get to solve challenging problems at scale and create high performing applications powering some of the biggest fan platforms on the internet with 350 million users, 300,000 communities and 4 billion page events monthly. You ensure they are secure, scalable and resilient. You get to deploy applications in a multi-cloud environment across different infrastructures.

You Will

  • Help build some of the biggest fan platforms
  • Gain experience across our stack using the right technology for the job like Java, Go, Python, K8s, and Terraform
  • Lead the technical end-to-end app and feature design process
  • Improve web apps
  • Help your team find the best processes to solve our multiple challenges
  • Collaborate with teammates and partners to share knowledge and inspire others to do great work

You Have

  • Backend: Experience with server-side web frameworks and an ability to code in at least one of our most used languages (Java, PHP, Go, or Python).
  • Fullstack: An ability to code in at least one of our most used languages (Java, PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript) in application development
  • Frontend: Experience in web development with JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, and Python development.
  • Experience with learning new technologies and stepping out of your comfort zone
  • Deliver well-structured, tested, maintainable and useful software
  • Ability to communicate in English

Bonus Points

  • Passion for pop culture (Movies, Games, TV Shows, Anime, etc.)
  • Experience working with highly-scaled web apps/ building reliable applications
  • DevOps experience using Docker or Kubernetes or any other tooling
