The Bright Distribution team is a critical component of Bright’s success as it drives the overall membership enrollment process and strategy. As our Medicare Broker Manager in Ohio, you will work closely with both our Medicare Distribution Leader and local Ohio market staff in driving our Medicare member acquisition strategy in this region. 


    • Establish relationships with key broker and general agent partners in the Ohio market, educate brokers on Bright Health’s compelling value proposition, and understand their member relationships and potential fit within Bright Health’s offering

    • Effectively communicate plan benefits, network, and value adds, internally and externally

    • Work closely with sales operations and leverage quantitative skills for market analyses and detailed sales tracking

    • Develop CMS compliant broker marketing strategies and materials

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing, Product, Technology, Health Optimization and Services teams on communicating plans, supporting enrollment processes, and influencing product design

    • Work hand in hand with our member services team to ensure utmost member satisfaction in the Ohio region



You have 5+ years of experience generating broker relationships in Medicare. You posses a strong healthcare knowledge, and can adeptly position Bright’s offering in the context of larger healthcare trends. Ideally, you have experience within the Ohio market, in particular. You are a self-starter, and operate with a high sense of urgency. You are an exceptional communicator and will thrive when asked to deliver our unique and differentiated value proposition. You succeed at and see the value in cultivating long-lasting relationships. Like others on our team, you are humble, mature, and check your ego at the door. You are brave, and always challenge the status quo, but respectful and have an open. You are excited to take ownership at the early stage of a company.
