C++ Software Engineer

Join us at Swift Navigation! On the Measurement and Positioning Team, we are responsible for translating noisy signals sent from space into precise location estimates. Our software is enabling the next generation of autonomous vehicles, and already runs on UAVs, spacecraft, agricultural robots, driverless cars, and more!


 


As a software engineer on the team, you will contribute to our upcoming architecture and development efforts. Tasks range from designing and optimizing GNSS filters to implementing and testing high-throughput concurrent data structures.


Requirements:




  • Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related field.




  • Coursework covering computer architecture, operating systems, and software design.




  • Experience with modern C++. (We like to see projects!)




  • Exposure to professional software development.




  • Thorough and compassionate communication.




  • Desire to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.




Bonus:




  • Advanced degree in Computer Engineering or related field.




  • Experience implementing mathematical algorithms in software.




  • Experience writing embedded software.




  • Knowledge of range-based positioning techniques.




  • Background in Applied Math: statistics, control theory, machine learning, etc.
