Financial Analyst at GumGum

We are currently seeking an entry level Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. The Financial Planning and Analysis team provides a broad array of financial reporting analysis and support to senior management to help drive business results. This role covers financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and other management reporting routines. Responsibilities also include presentations for our Executive Management in addition to our monthly & quarterly reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and performance; including monthly variance analysis
  • Work to create financial models and help build out existing forecasting tools
  • Assist with financial planning, budgeting process, and long term strategic planning
  • Track departmental expenses and review with leaders across the business
  • Work closely with accounting team to prepare monthly budget variance analysis
  • Assist with preparing reports and financial projections; including preparation of quarterly Board Meeting presentations
  • Other ad hoc analysis as required

Requirements

  • 0-2 years relevant work experience  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite a plus 
  • Understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills
  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration preferred
