EDI Analyst at Collective Health

Collective Health is transforming the way people experience healthcare. To accomplish this, we are reimagining the operational core of health insurance.


Eligibility flows through and impacts every aspect of the Collective Health platform, and we are building out our EDI team. We exchange a high volume of files per day with customers, networks, and partners, and are looking for an EDI Analyst to be responsible for the operation, quality, and scaling of our EDI systems. Through your experiences at Collective Health, you will be a pivotal part of improving the member healthcare experience by building a highly automated EDI management platform.


About you:


1-3 years work experience, preferably in an analyst or technical role

Bachelor's degree, technical degree preferred

Knowledge of and experience working with healthcare EDI formats (834, 835, 837, 270/271, 999) strongly preferred but not required

Meticulous attention to detail combined with analytical skills and intellectual curiosity

Strong drive: set and meet aggressive deadlines, work cross-functionally and with partners to identify and solve problems, and prioritize work

Self-starter: must be able to build out processes and create structure with minimal guidance

What You'll Do:


The EDI Analyst will monitor and own the success of daily outbound eligibility file transactions across Collective Health.


Develop and apply deep understanding of all of the file formats ingested and sent by our systems

Investigate and resolve daily exceptions and errors

Work closely with internal teams and 3rd party partners on improving existing integrations and implementing new integrations (defining requirements, running file testing, etc)

Prioritize quality and building for scale – our team is growing fast so you’ll need to be ready for new challenges

Partner with Product Operations, Product, Engineering, and our Operations Associate teams to continuously improve our internal systems and processes
