We are building a local Taiwan team to manage our manufacturing supply chain and to support local customers in Taiwan, China, and other parts of Asia. You will work closely with our US Engineering, Operations, and Sales/Marketing teams, and will be a critical part of our company's growth and our customers' success.
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to manage production planning across our supplier network and manage on-time fulfillment to our customers and distributors. This will start as an individual contributor role, but your responsibilities and team will expand as our business grows. You will report to our VP of Operations.
Manage semiconductor production schedules based on customer forecasts and demand, working closely with outsourced fab & packaging/test houses
Own & manage our internal forecast, order tracking system, and supply/demand planning tool
Directly communicate with our manufacturing partners to ensure production lots are started on time, manage the control of WIP material, and stay on top of schedules
Manage the fulfillment from our manufacturing partners to our customers / distributors
Manage and track logistics of material throughout supply chain and for customer delivery
Work closely with our Operations management team and Finance/Accounting team to implement new internal systems for better production & fulfillment tracking.
Highlight supply chain issues to top management and work quickly to find solutions with our manufacturing partners and internal team
Build and manage a world-class supply-chain management team that ensures excellent on-time-delivery and quality for our tier-1 OEM customers
Four year college/university degree in applicable field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
Ability to work full-time in Taiwan and travel to US (San Jose) as needed, and visit production partner as needed (Taiwan and Singapore)
Semiconductor supply chain management experience (planning, purchasing, etc.)
Experience working with high-volume consumer electronics OEMs, either as a supplier or internally (smartphone, tablet, PC, etc.)
Experience working in globally distributed teams (particularly US and Asia-based teams)
Management experience (small team is OK)
Proven ability to work on your own without detailed management oversight
