Come join us as our first People Operations leader! Reporting to our CEO, Timothy Harris, This role would lead the people function at Swift Navigation, which has already grown to a 60 employee company.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an environment where our employees can thrive as we continue to grow & scale. Short-term initiatives include running all of our benefits and performance management, leading hiring initiatives with our recruiting team and on-boarding and working on compensation bands. Long-term goals include setting up and running all HRIS systems, creating a plan for continued employee satisfaction, continuous feedback to management, and being accountable for overall office culture and happiness.


You have 4+ years of experience as a People Operations Manager at another technology startup that grew to over 150 employees.
You have 2+ years of experience managing other employees in operations, human resources or recruiting.
You have strong interpersonal skills - you are particularly adept at interacting with engineers.
You have past experience as a recruiter - you know how to sell and close candidates. You understand the achievable metrics for a recruiting organization to thrive.
You have developed a performance management process, standardized and rolled it out company-wide.
You have a proven track record of mentorship to both individual contributors and management.
You have seen the people function at a variety of organizations and you have your own organizational philosophy.
You have an in-depth knowledge of state, federal and applicable international employment laws.
You have set up an HRIS system from scratch and know how to implement it and roll it out.
