About the Role


The Uber for Business Content Marketing team works to acquire new organizations through thought leadership-driven awareness and lead generation campaigns and strategies. In this role, you will oversee the Uber for Business content marketing strategy which includes everything from managing our content campaigns and editorial calendar to producing web videos or writing long-form content for SEO.


You will also be Uber for Business’ Editor-in-Chief; you will manage all freelance contributors and be responsible for our editorial voice. This role works cross-functionally with Communications, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing teams to drive awareness, leads, and more.


You will work to achieve these goals through content-based strategies ranging from native content placements to paid amplification to partnership placements. At Uber for Business, we are data-driven in everything we do. You should have a creative, innovative approach to content marketing anchored in an obsession with analytics.


What You’ll Do
  • Own Uber for Business’ content marketing campaign strategy and execution across a variety of channels including web, paid social, partners, email, and more.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product marketing, and other stakeholders to produce a range of multimedia content, ranging from web videos, blog posts, whitepapers, webinars to support high-level marketing team goals and metrics
  • Develop content for partners, influencers, product launches, and syndication relationships, owned properties
  • Work closely with SEO, Product Marketing and Communications to define and drive product and educational narratives
  • Act as Editor and Chief; own Uber for Business marketing content and editorial calendar
  • Oversee and optimize Uber for Business Blog and newsletter, and all other owned content
  • Manage Uber for Businesses team of freelance content contributors
  • Work with content strategists across the organization to ensure consistency of tone and language across the full customer lifecycle 
What You’ll Need
  • 5-7 years of post-university work experience and a BA/BS in a related field such as journalism, marketing or communications
  • Experience in B2B marketing, with exposure to enterprise organizations
  • Experience in editorial and strategic content marketing, with a focus on business, finance or technology
  • Strong understanding of paid and organic media channels and how they relate to content and campaign promotion and amplification
  • Top notch editing skills
  • A love of writing and content production -- this role will focus heavily on writing and development
  • Experience managing a content management system
  • The ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive product and educational narratives
  • Experience managing a team of writers and contributors
  • Track record of developing and managing a robust editorial calendar
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
  • A creative approach
  • An energetic and willing attitude
