Senior Brand Manager - Global Social Impact, Uber Eats at Uber

Uber has become part of the logistical fabric of the world - whether it's a ride, a sandwich, or a package, we use technology to connect people with what they want, when and where they want it.

About the Role
 
We’re looking for a passionate Sr Brand Manager to help define the Uber Eats global social impact marketing strategy.  This individual will report into the Global Head of Brand Marketing.
What You'll Do
 
Scope and key responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic Partner: Serve as a strategic partner to the Uber Social Impact and Uber Eats Policy teams, helping to bring a consumer lens to the overarching Eats social impact strategy.
  • Planning & Strategy: Lead the marketing strategy for Uber Eats’ Social Impact work, including identifying areas of focus, developing marketing frameworks and toolkits (including core strategy & frameworks), establishing measurement and tracking, and working closely with mega regions to ensure needs are met.  Role will also require identifying opportunities to continue to iterate, expand, and improve upon Uber Eats’ social impact marketing for long-term success.
  • Local Execution: Consult and support mega-regional CSR leads on social impact initiatives and local campaigns/executions to ensure a cohesive global approach.
  • Business Integration: Provide social impact marketing consultation as strategies and opportunities emerge from cross-functional teams, such as BD, Strategic Partnerships, Product, PR/Comms, etc.
  • Management: Eventually hire, train, and manage direct report(s) to support CSR development & execution
What You'll Need
  • A proven strategist with 6-8 years of marketing experience and the ability to exhibit critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience building strategic marketing plans and integrated marketing campaigns, with expertise in research/insights, strategy, positioning, channel/comms planning, deployment, and measurement.

  • Ability to promptly establish priorities and communicate expectations.

  • An energetic team player with a collaborative spirit and the ability to influence and unify the direct team, peers, and leaders across all company functions.

  • Experience working within complex, global consumer marketing organizations.

  • A passion for creating structure and overcoming organizational inertia.
