Senior Manager, Equity at Bloom Energy
Sunnyvale, CA, US

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Senior Manager, Equity to join its world class team.  This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

Location: This position will be based in Sunnyvale, CA

Role and Responsibilities:

·        Administer equity incentive plan in the various jurisdictions in which equity awards are extended, which includes the following:

·        Process of grants, cancellations, and exercises (including withholding calculations)

·        Collect and process option grant data for new hires and current employees

·        Prepare and distribute electronic and paper grant agreement packages

·        Track and report disqualifying dispositions

·        File, organize, and maintain the stock administration records

·        Stay current on regulatory, legal and other developments (SEC, FASB, IRS and non-US tax rules and regulations) affecting the treatment of equity compensation domestically and internationally

·        Partner effectively and proactively with HR, Legal, Tax, Payroll and Accounting to foresee, implement, and address equity compensation initiatives and matters and assist with the preparation of equity related materials for the Compensation Committee of the BOD

·        Work with outside brokers/service providers efficiently and minimize fees

·        Respond to employee questions on options on a global basis

·        Maintaining Company’s stock data in system of record

·        Periodically report current and terminated employees data to Tax, HR, Payroll, and Accounting

·        Ensure compliance with ASC 718 reporting requirements

·        Ensure and maintain SOX compliance, including working with external auditors to ensure successful audits

·        Develop materials and other communications to better educate employees regarding stock options and another awards that are granted

·        Assist with the development and implementation of procedures and practices to better enable efficient, accurate, and timely processing of stock administration matters and reports

·        Ensure compliance with Section 16 and Rule 10b5-1 reporting requirements

·        Ad hoc projects as needed , including support for certain Payroll related activities

Skills and Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required

·        Six to eight years of stock administration experience in multi-national corporation

·        CEP Level I or II

·        Strong working knowledge of stock administration software (Equity Edge or EASi preferred)

·        Solid understanding of equity plans and operational knowledge of ASC 718

·        MS Office and computer skills proficiency required

·        Highly detail oriented

·        Excellent writing, strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

·        Excellent judgment, the ability to work independently and as a team player, and the ability to function in a highly confidential environment
