Solutions Architect -- Technology at Bright Health

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
 
As a Senior Solutions Architect for Bright Health, you will own the design of technical solutions across both Bright Health internal systems (Microsoft Dynamics and AWS) as well as in conjunction with the various 3rd party trading partners and our Care Partners within Bright Health’s ecosystem. You will deeply collaborate with Bright Health business and technical teams as well as being the technology leader and face of Bright Health technology with our Care Partners and 3rd party trading partners.  This role will also play a key role in overseeing the implementation of the designed solutions as well as playing a key role in defining the future technology architecture to support Bright Health’s long-term objectives. Specificresponsibilities include:
1.     Support Bright Health IT systems (in-house and outsourced) which support health plan back office functions.
2.     Gain deep understanding of the Bright Health Data Hub which provides integration services across the extended enterprise.
3.     Gain an understanding on OI and Calidus Cloud and associated interfaces.
4.     Solution design and oversight of health plan functions to improve efficiency, increase quality and decrease costs.
5.     Work with all teams within Bright to identify and implement opportunities that differentiate Bright to members and providers in the markets we serve.
6.     Manage assigned projects including coordination across multiple technology and business teams to a successful implementation.
7.     Assist in identifying budget items including related costs.
8.     Work with assigned business teams to identify and scope new project requests including a benefit/cost analysis.
9.     Assist in developing the yearly Road Map for the IT team.    

REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years’ experience with solutions design and implementation
    • 3+ years’ experience in Healthcare and Healthcare data
    • 2+ years in Claims and/or Eligibility background
    • 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and data integrations
    • 3+ years’ experience in project management and business analysis disciplines
    • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
    • 1+ year of SQL code development
